Pharmaceutical and regulatory science devotees will want to catch the 2019 FDA Science Forum on September 11-12 virtually and on the FDA’s White Oak Campus in Silver Spring, MD. Participants will enjoy posters and sessions on a wide range of topics, with many presentations by FDA scientists. The sessions are concurrent, so you’ll need to prioritize. The sessions topics are:
Day 1
- AM – Precision Health or Advanced Technology
- PM – Product Accessibility, Integrity, and Security or Predictive Tools
Day 2
- AM – Advancing Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence or Outbreak
- PM – Addiction or Empowering Consumers, Patients, and Other Stakeholders
It will be interesting to see how they present the posters virtually (if at all). Some individual talks that caught my eye were
- ‘Consumers Use of Personal Electronic Devices in the Kitchen‘ (in the Empowering session)
- The entire Outbreak session, and
- ‘Clinical Trials in 200 uL-Extending Approval in Rare Diseases Using In Vitro Data’ (in the Precision Health session).
