Branded Apps for Real World Data Collection in the MyStudies API

| Uncategorized

The FDA released the code and technical documentation for their MyStudies Platform last November and hosted a full day of webinars in early May to orient developers on the system. All the webinars and complete documentation for the system may be found at this SBIA web page. The platform may be used and modified for any public or private development of branded apps for the purpose of gathering real world data in clinical trials, real world evidence studies, or patient registries. The platform was developed by subject matter experts from Boston Technology Corporation and LabKey who are interviewed as part of the webinar series. Availability of this open source platform should enable an explosion of new apps (assuming enough developers are interested in working with these tools).
