Medical Products in the Northwest
Last week’s Life Science Innovation Northwest conference offered a diverse look at the research and commercialization of medical products (both pharmaceuticals and medical devices) currently underway in the Pacific Northwest. Attendees arrived in Seattle from across the West Coast and the U.S. and engaged in 2 days of panel presentations, individual company presentations, posters, and lots of networking fueled by hot breakfasts and lunches. Panel topics included cellular immunotherapy, politics and policy in innovation and health care, gene editing, venture investing, protein-based therapeutics, and medical device and angel investing. Next year’s conference will be April 7-8; if you are interested in medical product research and development on the left coast, save the dates now and follow the events at Life Science Washington’s web page.
